How to get there

From Montreal

Take Avenue Pierre-Dupuy (heading to the Casino) and cross the Concorde Bridge. At the Casino / Île-Notre-Dame intersection, take the exit to your right leading onto the island. Follow the signs to the “Bassin Olympique” and/or “P2” parking. The Montreal Rowing Club is located on the east end of the island, beyond the Gilles-Villeneuve race track, and beside the building used by Radio-Classique FM.

From the South Shore

Take Victoria or Champlain Bridge and follow the above directions.

Or, take Jacques-Cartier Bridge and exit part way across at the Île-Ste-Hélène exit. Follow directions to the Biosphere, and just beyond you will see the Cosmos Bridge on your left. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto the road, following the signs for the “Bassin Olympique” and/or “P2” parking. The Montreal Rowing Club is located beside the building used by Radio-Classique FM.

By metro

Take the yellow line (Berri-UQAM, direction Longueuil) and get off at the Jean-Drapeau station.

Going towards the Biosphere, you will see the Cosmos Bridge on your right. Once over the bridge, turn left and follow the signs to the “Bassin Olympique” and/or “P2” parking. A 500-metre walk along this road takes you to the Montreal Rowing Club, located beside the building used by Radio-Classique FM.

By bicycle

The island is accessible by the bike path from Avenue Pierre-Dupuy or via the Jacques Cartier bridge. Once on the island, follow directions outlined above, depending on whether you are coming from the west (Concorde Bridge) or from the east (Jacques-Cartier Bridge).
